Mazda wins
The rotary-engined Mazda Capella has been chosen as car of the year by a 23-man panel of judges working under the sponsorship of a Japanese motoring magazine. The Datsun 240 Z was awarded second place. The Mazda firm, Toyo Kogyo, Ltd, has now made more than 200,000 rotary engine cars.
