Mesdames D. Bishop and J. M. Kennedy won the first section of the doubles in the Canterbury junior croquet tournament yesterday.
Results: Bishop and Kennedy beat Mesdames V. M. Johns and A. Willetts, 26-5; Johns and Willetts beat Pluck and H. Johnson, 1817.
First section.—Mesdames R. K. Woodhead and C. Angus beat F. Nelson and Mrs E. Cocks, 26-9; Mesdames H. Goodwin and I. Jessett beat Mesdames C. Pluck and H. Johnson. 26-13. R. Kirk and Mrs R. Kirk beat Mesdames D. Bishop and J. M. Kennedy, 26-19.. Woodhead and Angus beat Mesdames G. Goodman and B. Wilson, 26-15; Goodwin and Jessett beat Nelson and Cocks, 26-20: Kirk and Kirk beat Goodman and Wilson, 26-21. First section winners: Mesdames Bishop and Kennedy. Second section: Mesdames W.
