Letters on television topics are subject to the rules applying to general correspondence. PROGRAMMING I see that on Tuesday evening we have “Coronation Street” followed by “Softly, Softly,” newsbrief, “Bracken’s World,” and then a musical variety show. It is difficult to balance programmes to suit all viewers, but surely it could be arranged to play the variety show before “Bracken’s World” to give a break from three straight shows. The only comment I make on “Bracken’s World” is that it should be shown at 11 p.m.—WATCHER,
