Milligan series
“Q. 5. the enigmatic title of a new 8.8. C. comedy series, is partly accounted for by the fact that the star is Spike Milligan and that the show has been described as “a Goon Show in vision."
The Spike Milligan brand of satire predominates, for he wrote most of the material with Neil Shand and even composed the distinctive signature tune. Locations in the series include the London Zoo, Beachy Head, and a convenience for gentlemen at stately Woburn AbbeyWith Spike Milligan in “Q. 5 are John Bluthal, Richard Ingrams and John Wells, while among the guest stars are Irene Handl and Bernard Miles.
"Q. 5 was produced for the 8.8. C. by lan McNaughton and begins screening on CHTV3 on Sunday.
