Anti-litter poster

Thousands of “Bin-Bag Year” posters will be distributed by the National Anti - Litter Campaign Council to remind the public to be litterconscious. The poster’s message, according to the council’s chairman (Mr E. C. Marris) is aimed at keeping the litter problem in the

public mind and to encourage the right reaction. "Good intentions are often frustrated because people cannot find rubbish receptacles,” he said. “As a. good range of receptacles is available, local authorities, shopkeepsrs and others in litter-prone places have the means of encouraging and maintaining a clean, tidy environment.”
