(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Dec. 21. A young man who died in a high-speed motor accident when the car he was driving went out of control after sideswiping another car on the Oreti River bridge early on Saturday night was

Warren Henry Cassidy, aged 26, an unemployed freezing works labourer.

The Invercargill police said today that his next-of-kin live in Otara, Auckland. Mr Cassidy was being pursued by a traffic officer when the car crashed at 70 miles an hour.

Water pollution Residents and campers at Oaro have been advised to boil all drinking water during the holiday period. Mr R. W. Sutherland, the health inspector for the Kaikoura County Council, reported at a recent meeting that the Oaro water supply had an adverse coliform count of 60. The Kaikoura town water supply, however, was reported to be pollution-free.
