Lawrie, secretary to the council, yesterday. “The chairman and mem- ' bers of the executive of the council would like to thank the staff of 3ZB for gifts for the Christmas tree; the children of Spreydon School and of the Central New Brighton School; the Hyman Marks Trust; the Shell Oil Company; women’s groups in the country and city; and other friends, for their most generous gifts of Christmas parcels and money,” Mrs Lawrie said.
