Injured youth

A youth injured in a road accident at Cust on December 4, in which another youth was killed, was yesterday still on the seriously ill list; in the Christchurch Hospital.’

He is Barry Alan Smith, aged 18, of Geraldine Street, Greymouth, who suffered head, leg, and arm injuries. He was said by the hospital last evenihg to be conscious at intervals. His condition was still only fair. The youth who died in the accident was Stanley Morgan, aged 17, of Taylorville, on the West Coast.

Another youth, Kevin Peters, aged 17, of 206 Main Road, Dobson, who suffered head, chest, leg, and arm injuries in the accident, is reported in a comfortable condition at the Burwood Hospital.
