Rescue from surf

A swimmer was pulled unconscious from the sea at North Beach soon before 6 p.m. yesterday and taken to Princess Margaret Hospital. He is Donald Grieve, aged 24, of 21 Bordersley Street, Linwood, Who was rescued from the surf about 200 yards from the North Beach Surf Life-saving Club’s pavilion.

Mr Grieve was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital for observation. His condition late last evening was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
