Products under investigation

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. Prices and margins of three products of Golden Chemical Products (N.Z.), Ltd, investigated are markedly higher than those of what appear to be comparable products on the market, said the Associate Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Adams-Schneider). Replying to a Parliamentary question from Mr D. A. Highet (Nat, Remuera), he said this was shown in an investigation by the Department of Industries and Commerce initiated at the request of the Price Tribunal. The products investigated were Gl5, ZBF, and L.D.C. The tribunal would soon examine the reasonableness of the prices being charged and margins being taken by the company and its distributors, and would fix maximum prices at which these goods may be sold.
