Penalty waived
A remission of $173.30 in penalty for late payment of the first instalment of rates was asked for by U.E.B. Industries, Ltd, in a letter received by the Paparua County Council last evening. The firm had paid its rates of $520821 but had overlooked the August penalty date for payment of the first instalment. The penalty was remitted.
