WELLINGTON, Nov. 29. An inadequate shipping: service between New Zea- ! land and the West Indies is restricting meat trade deve- ; lopment, a New' Zealand meat i salesman said in Wellington today.
After visiting the West Indian market. Mr A. Grif-| fiths, of Thomas Borthwick; and Sons (A’Asia), Ltd. said the West Indies must be of-i fered a much better service] if trade were to be increased' there. He said only two ships, were serving the area, oner of New Zealand’s largest beef markets.
