Two injured in accident

Two motor-cyclists were injured when the machine they were riding and a truck collided opposite the Woolston police station in Ferry Road about 3.40 p.m. yesterday. They are Rupert Philip Curd, of 8 Birkenhead Street, Avonhead, who suffered head injuries, and Brent William Anderson, of 42 Marama Crescent, St Andrews Hill, who suffered head and arm injuries.

Both were admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital, where Mr Curd was reported to be in a fairly comfortable condition, and Mr Anderson was reported to be satisfactory.
