Golden Kiwi grant

The Sumner Sports Pavilion, Inc., formed by the Sumner Rugby and cricket clubs to administer the St Leonard’s Park pavilion, has received a grant of $750 from the Golden Kiwi lottery profits, according to advice received by Mr T. M. McGuigan, M.P.

Purchasing officers—Christchurch has been chosen as the venue for the 1971 annual council meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Purchasing and Supply. Earlier meetings of the council have been held at Wellington, but it is now proposed to alternate between the four'main centres.
