PROPERTY SALES
A two-bedroom bungalow on a 32-perch section at 11 Belfast Road was sold for $6BOO at auction yesterday. The house is 23 years old, recently repainted. It has a lounge, a sunroom, and a kitchen-dinette. The Government valuation is $4350. The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. About 10 persons attended.
A 13-acre property on the comer of Tosswill and Trices Roads, Prebbleton, was sold for $16,500 by private treaty. On Wednesday the property was passed in at $16,000. It includes a halfmile training track. The Government valuation is $12,150. The auctioneer was Mr C. M. Robertson, of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd.
