Wooden posts

Wooden fence posts continue to be more widely used than concrete or steel ones, according to the forest economics division of the Forest Service. A Department of Statistics survey in 196970 showed that 69 per cent of posts used in that year were wooden, 19 per cent steel, and 12 per cent concrete. The percentage of wooden posts used was 3 per cent higher than in the previous year.
