SELLERS DOMINATE UNEASY NEW ZEALAND MARKET
Buyers were too few to absorb continued selling on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday and numerous small and one or two sharn losses resulted. 1
Support was confined to a limited number of stocks and they generally traded at slightly higher prices. However, C.F.M. was traded 6c higher at 110 c and the notes gained 3c at 96c. Quotations remained firm with buyers at 108 c and no sellers.
P.T.Y. was traded 56< higher at 260 c, ex a 6c divi dend, m the first sale since the announcement that the company was having talks with Winstone. Among the falls, which out numbered rises by more thar three to one, 1.C.1.N.Z. anc N.Z. Refining stood out witf losses of 10c and 9c respectively.
