Stamps for charity

The proceeds from more than 6000 overseas stamps to be sold in Christchurch on Friday will be given to Pakistani refugees. The sale is being organised by the Pakistan Refugee Fund committee at the University of Canterbury and all the stamps have been collected from overseas students at the university. The stamps, to be sold in sets of 10, will be on sale outside the Colombo Street entrance to Beaths. Organisers of the sale hope to forward the proceeds to the refugees through C.0.R.S.O.
