Mister Averil to spell
••The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND. Mister Averil, which was scratched from the Franklin Handicap tonight, knocked a knee when working on the inside track at Alexandra Park on Wednesday, and, rather than take any risks, his owner, Mr R. Lewis, and trainer, P. T. Wblfenden, decided to turn him out. . Wolfenden said it was probable Mister Averil would be out of work for about a month.
