Colour TV

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Sept. 17. The question of reduction in the rates of duty on colour television sets had not been considered at this stage, the Minister of Customs (Mr Adams-Schneider) told Parliament today. He was replying to a question from Mr P. Blanchfield (Lab., Westland) . asking whether he expected the Government to considerably lower duty rather than have viewers paying “exorbitant prices” for colour television sets.
