Meeting of evangelists
Thirteen evangelists from throughout New Zealand are’ in Christchurch for the na-I tional conference of Open Air Campaigners. The annual conference had two purposes, said the Wellington director (Mr G. Bradley). On the one hand it provided a means of fellowship amnog the evangelists; and on the other a chance to discuss methods of communicating more effectively in a technological age. “Methods need to be geared to the times but anchored to the rocks,” said Mr Bradley. s The conference, which is being held at the Rutland Street Chapel, will continue daily until next Thursday. It is the first time the conference has been held in Christchurch.
