Switchboard damaged
Slight damage was caused by a fire in the electrical switchboard of the central heating room on the roof of the first floor of the Horticultural Building, Cambridge Terrace, about 6.50 last evening. Firemen had to jemmy the door of the room to get at the fire. The fire was put out with a carbon dioxide extinguisher. Four appliances and the staff car from the Central fire station attended.
