Mr N. A. Collins?
(N.Z: Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. The national secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants (Mr N. A. Collins) has been recommended by the Minis* ter of Labour (Mr Marshall) for the post of industrial mediator. This was confirmed tonight by the Secretary of the Federation' of Labour (Mr W. J. Knox). Mr Marshall had told him Mr Collins was the Government’s choice for the job on Monday, he said. Tonight Mr Collins said he would not comment “in any shape or form.”
