Customs course

(N.Z. Press Associotion) WELLINGTON. Sept. 7. Eleven senior Customs officers from African and Asian nations will undergo a threemonth course in Customs administration in New Zealand beginning on September 20, the Minister of Customs (Mr Adams - Schneider) announced. i Such courses are held in New Zealand at two-year intervals under the auspices of E.C.A.F.E. and the Colombo Plan. “It is gratifying to know that the Customs Department is held in such high regard overseas that there is never any dearth of applications from developing nations whenever these courses are advertised,” Mr AdamsSchneider said. "This year, there was considerable pressure from a number of countries, and we felt it necessary to make a small increase in the number to attend.”
