Increase being considered (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 2. A possible increase in telephone rentals was under consideration, the PostmasterGeneral (Mr McCready) said questions, he said the Post m Parliament. Replying to Office's loss in the last year totalled $13.7m, and at the end of this year the Post Office would have to assess what amount would need- to be recovered from additional rental charges. He said the Government was not considering the possibility of reduced rentals for pensioners or variable rentals for small business concerns.
