The black marketing of tickets for the third Rugby tekt was in full swing in Wellington last week. Two tickets were sold for $55 each on the morning of die game and there was an unconfirmed report that another had changed hands for $75.
A Wellington man somehow obtained a fistful of tickets, which he blithely offered for sale at $2O each. However, these dealings pale in significance when compared with the story of four wealthy farmers from the Orange Free State who were anxious to watch the fourth test between South Africa and New Zealand last year. They got four tickets on the morning of the match —in return for their late model Mercedes Benz.
