Car parts arrive

The Korean Crown is unloading 244 cases of Toyota motor-car parts at Lyttelton for assembly at the Hornby plant of Steels Motor Assemblies, Ltd. Under charter to Mitsui O.S.K. Commanded by Captain Lee Sun Hwa, the 14) knot Japanese-built Korean Crown is comfortably appointed and has an all-Korean craw of 30 men. She has a gross tonnage of 5950 tons, and was built a year ago. The ship’s cargo was loaded at Nagoya in Japan. At Auckland and Wellington she discharged cars and parts.

The Korean Crown will load logs at Picton and New Plymouth for Japan.
