(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The 16 players announced today by the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union to compete in the Penfold home international series at Lochiel, Hamilton, on August 21 and 22 are:— Miss S. Beadle (Wanganui), Mrs D. Blake (Waikato), Miss H. Booth (Auckland), Mrs V. Cullen (Christchurch), Miss M. Doherty (Christchurch), Mrs E. Douglas (Invercargill), Miss P. Dudding (Taupo), Miss S. Hamilton (Christchurch). Miss J. Hanratty (Wellington), Mrs M. Laugesen (New Plymouth), Miss F. Peri (Gisborne), Miss M. Smith (Wellington), Miss C. Sullivan (Christchurch), Miss G. Taylor (New Plymouth). Mrs J. Whitehead (Manawatu), Miss U. Wickham (Tauranga). Reserves. Mrs G. Bannon (Auckland), Miss J. Low (Otago), Mrs J. Urbahn (New Plymouth), Miss K. Wilkinson (Auckland).
One team of four juniors and three other teams are to be chosen from the 16.
