Floral display planned for Hamilton
A spectacular display of roses will be held in conjunction with the week-long world rose convention in Hamilton in November. The display, held at the request of the planning committee of "Roseworld ’71,” will be staged by the Interflora Pacific Unit on November 10. Several months of planning and discussion have already taken place, and special plantings of roses have been arranged by leading New Zealand rosegrowers. A team of demonstrators and a compere have been selected, all being floral designers of international repute. The designers are

At the convention, the Interflora Pacific Unit will introduce a new rose, “Inter- • flora,” which will be released . for the first time in New I Zealand. It is from the House of Meilland —the house which 1 produced the famous "Peace” ■ rose.
