Collier idle.—The Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd’s collier Kawatiri was idle yesterday at Portland as seamen aboard observed a 24-hour stoppage. “Lack of headway in award negotiations” has been given as the reason for the stoppage.—-(P.A.).
