GAMES FUND APPEAL

A sum of $4OOO raised by a “Polar Plunge ’7l” and “Fashion Fun ’7l” in Wanganui is among major contributions received for the Christchurch Commonwealth Games appeal, funds for which now stand at $193,643.50.

The seventh list announced by the appeal committee shows contributions and promises of more than $5OO amounting to $18,710, taking the total in that section of the appeal to $177,635.
