PEDESTRIAN HURT

A pedestrian, Stanley Duff Bissett, of 24 Cashel Street, suffered moderately serious head and arm injuries when he was hit by a van at the intersection of Colombo and Tuam Streets about 3.30 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
