survey A survey to find out how many pea growers have refused to sign, contracts for the coming season would be made throughout New Zealand soon by the Vegetable end Produce Growers’ Federation, the president of the Canterbury branch Of the federation (Mr R. H. Moir) said yesterday. There had been many conflicting reports about the boycott by growers, Mr Moir said, and the survey would make the situation clear. The boycott was still on. No growers in Timaru and Nelson had signed contracts, and only a few in'Canterbury had signed;
