Conference of Toc H
Delegates from Dunedin, Oamaru, Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington, Rotorua, and Auckland attended the annual conference of Toe H in Wellington recently. The honorary commissioner for New Zealand, Sir Arthur Harper, presided. Reports on branch activities said that service had been given to the young, the aged, and the infirm, both in New Zealand and overseas, upholding the four main principles of the movement. Several branches in New Zealand operate film-show units and give entertainment to elderly folk in homes for the aged and in hospitals. More than 300 shows were given last year, the total audience exceeding 7500. i Apart from formal branches in Auckland (2), Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Omaru, ; and Dunedin, there are several hundred associates of ; the movement in many parts j of New Zealand.
