Bellamour not sold

(N.Z. Press Association? PALMERSTON NORTH. The good mare, Bellamour, recently retired, was passed In at $BOOO at the annual Manawatu thoroughbred sale yesterday afternoon. The reserve was $15,000. In all 34 of the 42 lots were sold, for a total of $12,135. The highest price was $lO5O for the four-year-old mare, Lazer Ray, one of nine lots offered In the dispersal sale of the Lower Hutt owner, Mr W. F. Fowns. The buyer was Mr J. Milligan, of Otane. The next highest price was $9OO for an attractive Rich Gift— Farlena yearling filly offered by Mr J. H. ScotE of Bulls. The buyer was Mr T. McK. Duncan, of Marton.
