Dog imports from U.K.

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, June 18.

For more than 12 months Britain had been free from rabies and increased precautions were being taken to prevent introductions of the disease there, the Minister said. The decision to resume importation had not affected, noi was it expected to affect, the normal pattern of movement of cats and dogs between New Zealand and Australia.
