BRISBANE,
The New Zealand shooter, C. Buchanan, has won the intermediate championship at the national clay target titles in Brisbane.
Buchanan, with a 50-60 score, beat R. Wann (49-60), and M. Bird (41-50), both of Western Australia.
The Queenslander, D. Smith, tied with J. Newton Thomas, of Victoria, for the international high gun cup. More than 450 shooters took part in the championships over three days.
