AUCKLAND, June 14.

Zig Zag cigarette papers have risen in price from 4c to 6c for single and 6c to 8c for double papers. Mr B. G. Barlow, director of Barlow Bros (N.Z.), Ltd, of Christchurch, which packages Zig Zag papers, said tonight that the price increase arose from higher production costs and wages, and that the cigarette papers did not come under the classification of the Prices Division of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
