R. Tihore suspended
An Albion senior reserve player, R. Tihore, was sus pended for two playing Saturdays when he appeared before the Canterbury Rugby Union’s management committee last evening. After having been warned earlier, Tihore was ordered off after the referee saw him kick a Shirley opponent about the head and shoulders. Tihore denied the charge and said that he was caught in the middle of a ruck. _ , An underweight player who also appeared before the committee for foul play on the field wu reprimanded.
Seating short—Only 500 open stand seats remain to be sold for the CanterburyBritish Lions match on Saturday. All covered stand seats were sold by yesterday. The number of programmes being printed had been increased from 18,000 to 20,000.
