Missing horse
A 12-year-old gelding, one of more than 30 horses at the “horse haven” in New Brighton has been missing since Saturday. The “horse haven” is run by Mr S. Derrett. He keeps unwanted horses in a 22-acre property in Travis Road, to save them from being destroyed. The horse, named Simon, is a bay gelding with dark points. It has a white spot on its forehead and is slightly lame.
