Foalings in U.S.

The foalings of four New Zea-land-bred mares have been reported from White Devon Farm, New York, the stud established by the late Mr M. Tananbaum. Ipiana (Johnny Globe—Golden Gates) has foaled a filly by Trowbridge, a pacing son of Star’s Pride and the Hoot Mon mare, Cassin Hanover. Trowbridge which took a record of 1:57 4-5, stands at a fee of $lOOO.

Au Fait, one of the top trotters raced in this country, has foaled a filly to the same sire. The daughter of Johnny Globe and Dauphine is a half-sister to Misty Prince, Oinaka, Dazzle, Valiant Sandy, Vivacious, and Royal Scorpion, and a sister to Worth Seein’ and Precocious.

Lehigh, a five-year-old mare by Fallacy from the Garrison Hanover mare, High Hopes, has foaled a colt by Adora’s Dream, which is fully booked this year. Adora’s Dream, which took a record of 1:58 1-5, was got by Knight Dream from the Adios mare, Adora.
