TUNKU Razaleigh, the leader of Malaysia’s first trade mission to Peking, said today that China had agreed to buy the Malaysian Government’s stockpiled rubber, and would require, in direct trade, 150,000 to 200,000 tons ef rubber a year. , Tunku Razaleigh, who is ’ president of the Associated ; Malay Chambers of Com- ’ tnerce, and made the state- : ment on his return to Kuala ; Lumpur from Hong Kong ’ said that China was prepared te buy at prevailing market prices and that there would ' be further negotiations. • Tunku Razaleigh did not 1 disclose the total amount of 1 rubber in the Malaysian ’Government’s stockpile, but ' said that there were "thousands of tens.” While in Peking, the trade i mission had talks with the i China Council for the Proi motion of International Trade , and was received by the i Chinese Prime Minister (Mr > Chou En-lai).
