Bonus issue by N.Z.I.G.
(NX Frew Association) WELLINGTON, May 20. New . Zealand Industrial Gases, Ltd. will make a 1 for 4 tax free bonus issue out of the asset revaluation reserve for freehold land, to shareholders on June 24. The issue will increase capital $750,000. An ordinary interim dividend ef 44 per cent will be paid on capital after the bonus / issue. The higher interim dividend, /which would be about 5.6 per cent on capital for the issue, does not imply any increase in the total amount to be declared for 1971. The final dividend rate must depend on the result for the year, the directors said.
