Appointment appeal
(N.Z. Prexs Association) AUCKLAND, May 11. An Auckland Regional Authority senior staff member has lodged an appeal against the appointment of a new manager of the transport division. On Wednesday, the A.R.A. general manager (Mr E. A. Flynn) announced the appointment of Mr C. H.i Barnacle, an English trans-i port expert. The post, which carries a salary of be-, tween $BOOO and $9OOO, is widely regarded as being one of the toughest of its type in New Zealand.
