Most improved rider

The forceful Christchurch : rider, L. R. Boyce, has been named as “the most improved scrambles rider in the South ; Island” for the season just, ending.

Formerly of Blenheim, Boyce is the provisional winner of both tile 250 c.c. and the 350 c.c. South Island championships this season. He is thus following in the footsteps of his older brother, Des, who won many national and South Island titles before he withdrew from competition a few seasons ago. ■

Boyce has been presented with $5O and an impressive trophy given by Mr and Mrs R. Lang.
