Widespread falls in Australia

The suspension of Leopold Minerals, sent the Australian mining market tumbling yesterday. Speculative nickels, and especially those which rose recently were the hardest hit. Oils and industrials were quiet and generally easier.

Mining Finance dropped 23c to 65c and M.I.M. was down 20c to 370 c. Established miners were notably easier. Peko dropped 70c to 1070 c and C.R.A. fell 20c to 1190 c. Utah eased 15c to 400 c, and New B.H. shed 20c to 1390 c. Kathleen Investments eased 30c to 1000 c, and Queensland Mines fell 150 c to 2300 c. Industrials were easier in light trading. B.H.P. shed 15c to 1470 c and C.S.R. dropped 14c to 616 c. Austim, F. and T., and the Herald were also marginally lower. Thiess dropped 25c to 375 c.
