U.S. PRO. TOUR

Casper may return

(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. The American golfer, W. Casper, may play a series of matches in New Zealand later this year. Mr E. Barner, the president of Uni—Managers International, the company which looks after Casper’s interests, said this in Auckland yesterday. “The main reason for my coming to this part of the world,” said Mr Barner, “is to have look at Billy’s ranch.” Casper, who played a series of exhibition matches in New Zealand 18 months ago, has an interest in a large block of land near Taupo. "As well as investigating the possibility of another tour for Casper,” said Mr Barner, “I am prepared to help negotiations to bring players, other than those our company manages, to this country.” Mr Barner also thought there was a good possibility that B. Crampton (Australia), might also play in New Zealand next summer.
