PUBLIC NOTICES THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1553 CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO A SPECIFIED DEPARTURE AND FOR AN ORDER UNDER SECTION 308 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by CARMEN EDRIC BRO SN AH AN REINKE of Christchurch for consent to a specified departure and for an Order under Section 308 of the Town and Country Planning Act to permit the land hereinafter described to be used for the retail sale and distribution of used motor cars. The property is situated at 249 Stanmore Road near the corner of Stanmore Road and Alexander Street, Christchurch. The land is zoned Commercial A in the Operative District Scheme. Its proposed zoning in the Reviewed District Scheme is Residential 4 but after hearing objections the Council has resolved to retain the Commercial Zoning of the land. The legal description of the land is all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch containing 23.2 perches more or less being Lot 1 Deposited Plan 19617 part Rural Section 41 and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 745 Folio 8. The application may be examined at the City Engineer’s Office of the Christchurch City Council at 166 Gloucester Street, Christchurch during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk Christchurch City Council, P.O. Box 237, Christchurch not later than 4 p.m. on March 15, 1971. Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection. As soon as possible after submitting the objection to the Council the objector shall serve on the applicant a copy of the objection. DATED the Bth day of February, 1971. C. E. B.
