Championship scratchings

Garry Rowan, from Victoria, and the South Australian pacer. Single Copy, have been scratched for the Inter-Dominion Championships, which will begin at Addington Raceway next Saturday week. This was announced yesterday by the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's racing aecretary (Mr T, H. Davis). Gariy Rowan and Single Copy were both acceptors for the first heat of the 10 furlong events on the opening night of the meeting. The only Australian pace! in this heat now will be Imatoff, from New South Wales.

The two scratchings have allowed the two Centerbury pacers, Robalan and Globe Bay, which were on the list of reserves, Into the fields.
