T.N.T.'s offer “acceptable”
(N.Z. Preus Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 3 The P and O Group has indicated to the Government that it intends to accept the offer of the Ausralian bidder, Thomas Nationwide Transport, for the Union Steam Ship Company, according to the Broadcasting Corporation’s parliamentary reporter in the late television news tonight. The reporter said he understood that ondlwy one derstood that only one offer had been made for the Union Company.
